A STRATEGIC SOLUTION TO CFMEU’S NSW HEAD OFFICE RELOCATION
Australia’s main trade union made the move to Pyrmont in Sydney and Converged Technology were tasked with developing and delivering a comprehensive audio-visual strategy that seamlessly linked the new premises’ meeting spaces.
The construction, forestry, maritime, mining and energy union (CFMEU) is Australia’s main trade union. In 2018, their NSW branch’s head office relocated to Pyrmont, Sydney, where their new space was to house various meeting spaces. Our job was to develop and execute a comprehensive audio-visual strategy that supported collaboration within and between those meeting spaces.
In partnership with leading Unified Communications company, IComm, Converged Technology designed and implemented a range of solutions and workplace technologies to collaborate with their existing Office 365 and Skype for Business UC/telephony solution, and seamlessly integrate with the Microsoft stack. TRAINING ROOMS
Our aim:
To provide video conferencing capabilities with internal and external parties, and the ability for trainers to present content easily and be heard clearly through both training areas. In addition, all equipment was to be wireless or affixed to walls to best support multiple seating arrangements. Finally, the system should support room combinations such that Training Room 1 could overflow to Training Room 2 in order to support large events and conferences.
