CREATING A SEAMLESS CONNECTION BETWEEN OZCHILD’S NEW SUPER SITES
After property management company, BRM, reimagined OzChild’s Melbourne office structure from five individual offices to two ‘Super Sites’, Converged Technology were charged with seamlessly linking them.
In 2019, leading child welfare agency OzChild merged all five of its Victorian locations into two ‘super sites’ in Dandenong and Frankston.
Structurally, these modern purpose-built spaces helped facilitate a more cohesive delivery of its services, while also enabling greater support for vulnerable children, young people and their carers and families. Technologically, however, it was up to Converged Technology to make these Super Sites seamlessly interconnected.
In partnership with leading communication company, Jasco, Polycom video conferencing equipment was integrated into the organisation’s existing Office 365 and Skype for Business software, to provide video conferencing and telephony services within their Unified Communications suite. We then provided the following space-specific solutions.
MEETING ROOMS
Our aim:
To provide staff and guests with best-in-class wireless presentation capabilities, a visual indicator or room status, and the ability to easily schedule ad-hoc meetings.

LARGER INTEGRATED SPACES
Our aim:
To provide a combinable room system within the large multi-purpose spaces. These spaces featured operable walls, which doubled as a Boardroom and adjoining conference room, with a breakout/Kitchen area. Our job was to equip the spaces for both audiences and presenters, ensuring complete microphone and camera coverage.
