A STATE-OF-THE-ART VIDEO WALL SOLUTION FOR TABCORP’S REAL-TIME NEEDS
World class diversified gambling entertainment group, Tabcorp, undertook a head office relocation in 2017 that in-turn required a suite of video walls to deliver real-time access to various video feeds.
As part of Tabcorp’s major head office relocation to Collins Square, a comprehensive audio-visual strategy was architected and implemented by Converged Technology to improve staff collaboration across a variety of meeting spaces.
These purpose-built working areas supported Tabcorp’s Systems Operations, Race Day and Incident Management teams who were individually responsible for monitoring all internal wagering and IT systems (Systems Operations), controlling pari-mutuel wagering across domestic and international racing for thoroughbred, harness and greyhounds (Race Day), as well as managing critical incidents if and when they arose (Command Centre).
VIDEO WALL SOLUTION
Our aim was to ensure each of these areas was to be fitted out with a state of the art video wall solution in order to provide real time access to a variety of video feeds from their internal IPTV solution and other external content providers.
Converged Technology partnered with IComm to design and implement a comprehensive video wall solution for Tabcorp that would service the specific needs of each of three different teams. The system would be mission critical, support 24x7 runtime, be IPTV capable, have audio capabilities, support a large number of different graphical layouts and user driven configurations, yet remain easy to use and accessible to all members of the various teams.
