A DIGITAL ROOM BOOKING SOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF CASEY
Bunjil Place is an award-winning new entertainment precinct located in the heart of the City of Casey – a local government area in Melbourne’s outer south eastern suburbs — that required a comprehensive room booking solution for its 50 new meeting rooms.
Bunjil Place, The City of Casey’s new state of the art facility, is a regional multi-purpose development that includes an 800-seat performing arts centre, flexible studio, regional art gallery, community library, meeting rooms and activated community plaza.
Converged Technology designed the following room profiles to support L1 Capital:
DIGITAL ROOM BOOKING
In 2018, The City of Casey sought a new digital room booking solution that encompassed its 50 new meeting rooms spread across three floors and two different buildings. Shortly after, Converged Technology secured the highly competitive tender allowing us to follow through with our aim to seamlessly connect each area.
OUR AIM:
In order to design and implement a comprehensive room booking and space management solution, Converged Technology partnered with Robin Powered – a leading provider of meeting space management software. Delivered exclusively from the cloud, Robin has a strong SaaS offering with features including:

Over 55 meeting room spaces were eventually delivered for the council’s municipal’s offices, spanning both back office and public facing meeting rooms. Within these spaces, two different room booking panels were supplied in order to deliver a successful room booking and space management solution: both Apple iPad 9.7” tablets and Crestron TSS-7 panels (configured for Robin) with LED light bar accessories.
