AN INTERCONNECTED SOLUTION FOR KORDAMENTHA’S NEW MELBOURNE HQ

KordaMentha — an advisory and investment firm that provides specialist consulting, forensic, real estate, restructuring and investment services — sought to foster collaboration within their new premises at the Rialto through a truly holistic audio-visual solution.

KordaMentha recently moved their Melbourne headquarters to the Rialto at 525 Collins St, which had just undergone a major refurbishment. The new premises at the Rialto was architected to foster collaboration and provide staff with a state of the art working environment.

Our job was to seamlessly connect the new fit-out, which incorporated a number of different meeting spaces, ranging from the traditional boardroom, huddle rooms, collaborative areas to a multi-purpose entertainment and presentation space.

OUR AIM:

Converged Technology partnered with IComm — a leading Microsoft centric solutions integrator — to deliver a truly holistic audio-visual solution for KordaMentha. KordaMentha were already avid proponents of technology, particularly in and around the Microsoft ecosystem. Their Unified Communications was underpinned by Microsoft’s Skype for Business platform and staff had already adopted Microsoft teams for internal collaboration.

IComm were tasked by KordaMentha with designing a Microsoft centric video conferencing strategy, and delivered a range of Polycom VC and Microsoft interactive whiteboards to achieve this. IComm then engaged Converged Technology to provide the audio-visual integration design and expertise, and to supply the supporting in-room equipment and workplace technology. Converged Technology also designed the audio-visual solution for the customer’s presentation space; a multi-purpose area featuring large presentation and kitchen area, used for both staff and client functions.
